Ariana Grande Says 'Thank U, Next'
to Grammys After Disagreement
With Producers Ariana Grande will no longer be performing
at the Grammys and is reportedly refusing to
even attend the Feb. 10 event. Grande reportedly got into
a fight with producers after
they imposed restrictions
on her performance. They initially wouldn’t allow her to perform
"7 Rings," her latest single, that's been at the top
of the charts for two weeks. A compromise was offered in which
the song could be part of a medley, but under the condition that the second
song would be of their choosing. The whole situation left Grande
feeling “insulted” as these
stipulations weren’t placed on
any of the show’s other performers. Grande is nominated for best pop vocal
performance and best pop vocal album, and her album, 'Thank U, Next,' is scheduled for release two days before the Grammys.
