Despite a dip in the number of auto exports, the average price of Korean automobile exports reached a record high last year... thanks to the popularity of sports utility vehicles.<br />Data released by the Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association on Thursday... shows the average price of the country's cars surpassed the 15-thousand U.S. dollar mark in 2018... a one-point-six-percent increase from the previous year.<br />The data comes as a rare piece of good news for Korean auto exporters... which have seen outbound shipments wane for six straight years leading up to 2018. <br />
