한미방위비분담금협상 이르면 오늘 매듭…"1조500억 미만"<br /><br />Seoul and Washington could reach a final agreement on defenese cost sharing, as early as today.<br />That's according to Lee Soo-hyuck..., a member of the parliamentary committee on foreign affairs.<br />He said the two sides have decided to sign a deal for this year only,... and the final amount that South Korea will pay could be around or somewhat less than 9-hundred-30 million dollars a year.<br />The Trump administration had reportedly demanded about one billion.<br />Earlier in the week,... the U.S. State Department mentioned the allies have reached an agreement in principle,... but gave no details.<br />Seoul's ministries of foreign affairs and defense... pointed out negotiations are still ongoing,.. and that no specific details can be released before the final announcement.
