HAPPY BIRTHDAY Christopher Julius Rock III <br />was born on February 7, 1965, <br />and turns 54. The comedian was born in Andrews, South Carolina and later grew up in <br />Brooklyn, New York. At the age of 18, he was discovered and mentored by fellow comedian Eddie Murphy. After working in standup, he became a cast member of Saturday Night Live. Rock went on to star in <br />The Longest Yard, Madagascar and Grown Ups. He also had his own HBO series, The Chris Rock Show. He later wrote and narrated <br />the comedy show, ‘Everybody <br />Hates Chris,’ which was based on his own life while growing up in New York. Rock also made his own documentary, Good Hair, in 2009. He is currently a Grammy nominee for Best Comedy Album for Tamborine. Happy Birthday, Chris Rock!
