Cheteshwar Pujara, who resumed on an overnight score of 130, fell seven runs short of his double century as he was dismissed on 193. Wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant scored his Test career’s second century as he finished unbeaten on 159. Down the order, Ravindra Jadeja played a handy knock of 81 runs.
