Storm Erik has battered the North-West coast of England bringing seawater onto the promenade at the historic coastal resort of Blackpool today (February 8).<br /><br />Winds of up to 60 miles per hour have caused disruption at airports.<br /><br />The Met Office has issued warnings for much of the UK, especially in parts of Northern Ireland and Scotland.
