South Korea's defense minister Jeong Kyeong-doo will pay an official visit to the United Arab Emirates for six days,... departing later tonight.<br />Minister Jeong will meet with his UAE counterpart to discuss strengthening Defense cooperation between the two countries.<br />He will also attend this year's IDEX International Defense Exhibition and Conference in Abu Dhabi,... where some 15-hundred defense firms from around 70 countries, including South Korea,... are expected to participate.<br />Minister Jeong plans to hold talks with his counterparts from Oman, Egypt, Greece and other countries,... during the exhibition.<br />He will also meet with South Korean troops from two units dispatched to the region.<br />The Akh unit is helping train the UAE's special forces,... and the Cheonghae naval unit is helping maintain maritime security in the Gulf of Aden. <br />
