Two Koreas to propose unified teams for 2020 Tokyo Olympics

The two Koreas will announce which sports they will compete in as a joint team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics this afternoon.<br />South Korean Sports Minister Do Jong-hwan and his North Korean counterpart Kim Il-guk will meet with the chief of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach, to discuss forming unified teams for the 2020 Olympics.<br />In their previous bilateral meetings, the top sports officials of South and North Korea had agreed to to try and form joint teams for rowing, judo, women's basketball and women's hockey.<br />The Korean officials are also expected to submit their bid to jointly host the 2032 Summer Olympics at the Friday's meeting with Bach. <br />
