President Donald Trump said Friday local time,... that trade talks with China are going very well and the U.S. is closer than ever... to having a "real" trade deal. <br /> His comments came after two days of high-level talks wrapped up in Beijing .<br />Negotiations are set to continue next week in Washington... aimed at signing a memorandum of understanding before the March 1st deadline.<br />Trump also added that he may extend the current deadline to accommodate a deal... and freeze tariffs on Chinese goods.<br />Chinese state media The People’s Daily reported on Saturday... that the talks have made important progress, injecting new impetus into the next stage of development of bilateral relations. <br />
