Margot Robbie Won't <br />Return as Harley Quinn <br />in 'Suicide Squad' Sequel The actress will instead star <br />in her own DC Extended <br />Universe spin-off movie, <br />'Birds of Prey.' Director James Gunn <br />will helm the upcoming <br />Suicide Squad sequel. The filmmaker wants to <br />feature a new cast of <br />characters and to avoid any <br />direct tie-in to the first movie. Gunn is taking "a new approach <br />and rethinking of the property" <br />and reportedly does not intend <br />to use the character at all. Margot is set to wrap <br />up the filming of <br />Birds of Prey in April.
