A seven-year-old boy accidentally fell into an open manhole but managed to climb out of it by himself in northwestern China.<br /><br />In the CCTV video, captured in Zhongwei City in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region on February 15, a boy in a green coat pushes a bike in a residential community and passes it to another boy in a black coat.<br /><br />After the black coated boy rides away, the boy in a green coat is distracted looking at him and does not notice the open manhole behind him, causing him to fall in. <br /><br />When his friend notices the incident and runs to help him, the boy can be seen climbing out of the manhole by himself.<br /><br />According to reports, the manhole was more than a metre deep with cables and water inside and the boy was only around 1.2 metres tall.<br /><br />Fortunately, the boy only suffered scratches to his head and hands. It was unknown how the boy was able to climb out by himself.
