Sending back remains of American war dead likely to be discussed at N. Korea-U.S. summit: RFA

It seems North Korea and the U.S. will discuss returning the remains of more American war dead at their upcoming summit in Hanoi.<br />According to Radio Free Asia, the Coalition of Families of Korean War and Cold War POWs told the broadcaster,... that it got a confirmation from the U.S. Department of Defense that the two leaders will cover the issue during their talks in the Vietnamese capital.<br />At last year's summit in Singapore, North Korea promised to repatriate U.S. war remains and sent 55 cases back two months later.<br />No additional remains have been excavated or sent back since then.<br />The coalition estimates the remains around five-thousand-three-hundred American soldiers killed during the Korean War are still in North Korea. <br />
