REMEMBERING Kurt Donald Cobain was born on February 20, 1967. The musician was born in Aberdeen, Washington. Cobain changed music history with Nirvana. He co-founded the band in 1987 and the group later signed <br />with DGC Records before <br />releasing their hit, "Smells <br />Like Teen Spirit." But as the band gained widespread success, <br />Cobain battled with <br />severe depression. He was found dead on April 8, 1994, at the age of 27 after he <br />died by suicide. He was posthumously inducted <br />into the Rock and Roll Hall of <br />Fame along with the rest of his <br />Nirvana bandmates in 2014.
