A types of mammoth tortoise thought to have been wiped out for over a century has been found in the Galapagos Islands. <br /><br />The grown-up female Fernandina Goliath Tortoise was found by individuals from the Galapagos National Park and the US NGO Galapagos Conservancy. <br /><br />An individual from the animal categories had not been spotted since 1906 and were considered to have vanished. <br /><br />The gathering was supposedly completing an undertaking on the island of Fernandina in the western Ecuadorian area of the Galapagos Islands. <br /><br />The disclosure was reported by the Ecuadorian condition serve Marcelo Mata, albeit no different subtleties have been uncovered yet. <br /><br />Jeffeys Malaga and Washington Tapia, who influenced the disclosure, to trust that she may not be separated from everyone else and there could be different individuals from this tricky species <br /><br />The Fernandina Mammoth Tortoise is supposedly one of 15 goliath tortoise species in the Galapagos.
