Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad is taking a wait-and-see approach over whether PAS will honour its pledge to support him in event of a no-confidence vote to oust him.<br /><br />“I will wait. If there is a no-confidence vote, I want to see if PAS supports me or not,” he told reporters when asked to comment on PAS’ pledge to support him.<br /><br />He was speaking to reporters after visiting the Ministry of Defence’s headquarters in Kuala Lumpur today.<br /><br />Previously, Mahathir claimed that PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang promised that his party would not be campaigning for Umno in the Semenyih by-election during a meeting between the two on Feb 15.
