<br /><p>DALLAS, Texas -- It was the traditional Red Out match up against the UConn Huskies where the Mustangs broke their losing streak 77-59 Thursday night. The Mustangs had a strong lead going into the second half which hasn't happened since they played Wichita State back in January. </p><br /><br /><br /><br /><p>Jahmal McMurray led the Mustangs with 25 points with Eathan Chargois and Isiaha Mike right behind him with both racking up 14 points each. SMU ended their five-game losing streak while the Huskies continued theirs with this being their fourth straight loss. </p><br /><br /><br /><br /><p>SMU are 13-12 and 5-8 in the AAC. The Mustangs hit the road and take on the UCF Knights this Sunday at 11 a.m. CT. </p><br />
