Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng has reiterated today that lotto operator Da Ma Cai did not directly sponsor a recent visit to Turkey by some senior police officers.<br /><br />He elaborated that the trip was sponsored by the Totalisator Board under the Ministry of Finance, which receives funding from Pan Malaysian Pools Sen Bhd, better known as Da Ma Cai.<br /><br />Yesterday, inspector-general of police Mohamad Fuzi Harun denied that the trip was conducted for entertainment purposes, as certain quarters had claimed on social media.
