Housing and Local Government Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin said 9,000 new fireproof suits will be provided to the Fire and Rescue Department.<br /><br />The suits will cost about RM2,000 each and will benefit some 14,000 firemen.<br /><br />She said this after launching a fire prevention safety campaign at the Ampang Jajar flats in Mak Mandin, Butterworth on Saturday.
