She has won a total of 35 awards for<br />her role in ‘If Beale Street Could Talk.’ Among those was best performance<br />by an actress in a supporting role<br />at the 76th Golden Globes. ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’ was written and directed by Barry Jenkins. The movie is nominated for two<br />other Oscars including best original<br />music score and best adapted screenplay.
