김정은 열차로 하노이행...하롱베이• 박닌성 산단 방문할듯<br /><br />And now, over to our Park Hee-jun who's at the Hanoi Opera House,... a venue that might be used for the two leaders' summit or their dinner banquet.<br />So Hee-jun, we're hearing that Kim Jong-un is heading south on his armored train.<br />Tell us more about his route to Vietnam.<br />Devin. The North Korean leader is on his way to the Vietnamese capital for his second face-to-face with U.S. President Donald Trump.<br />He started the trip from Pyeongyang on Saturday and is now about halfway here.<br />His train is said to have passed through the Chinese town of Changsha this afternoon.<br />Kim is expected to get off the train once he crosses the border into Vietnam.<br />He'll get off at Dong Dang Station in the city of Lang Son,... and take a car for the rest of his journey. <br />Dong Dang Station is bustling with preparations for his arrival.<br />Government officials were overseeing the renovation of the station, and workers were busy tidying up the exterior.<br />Security was evidently tightened,... with every corner of the city being patrolled by police officers.<br />Even on the way to Lang Son district,... some were using bomb detectors.<br />I was able to speak to one of the officials there,... who confirmed that Kim is expected to arrive Tuesday morning. Take a listen.<br /><br />"We heard that the North Korean leader will use this station for the North Korea-U.S. summit. We were told to get this station into the best condition. We don’t know the exact time, but we’re expecting him on the 26th."<br />Now President Trump, on the other hand,... will set off for Hanoi on Monday morning, Washington time.<br />And he will arrive in the city around Tuesday afternoon.<br />Once he gets into Vietnam, Kim Jong-un will have some time on his way to Hanoi to visit a few key places.<br />What do we know on that front?<br />Unfortunately,... we don't know anything for sure as of now.<br />But one possible stop is Ha Long Bay, a popular tourist destination.<br />Kim is well known for his interest in the tourism industry.<br />Ha Long Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that attracts some 10-thousand tourists a day.<br />His grandfather Kim Il-sung also paid a visit there in 1964.<br />And because he is also greatly devoted to the economic development of his country,... another likely choice would be Bac Ninh Province, where there's a Samsung Electronics factory that makes smartphones.<br />North Korea's Kim Chang-son, who's in charge of protocol, also reportedly toured the area.<br />And it's actually considered a symbol of Vietnam's Doi Moi policy-- the country's economic reforms in the 1980s.<br />There's speculation as well that he could visit Hai Phong.<br />The port city is home to some South Korean companies, including LG Electronics.<br />And also Vietnam's first automobile brand, VinFast.<br />It's highly likely that he'll stop by at least one of these places before reaching Hanoi on Tuesday.<br />Back to you, Devin.<br />Thank you so much guys for that. <br />Those were our reporters Lee Ji-won and Park Hee-jun reporting live from Hanoi.
