김정은 숙소 멜리아 호텔 유력...주변 경비 급 강화<br /><br />We are less than two days from the start of the second North Korea-U.S. summit.<br />And Hanoi is busy with preparations to greet the two leaders tomorrow.<br />Standing by in the city is our Park Hee-jun and Lee Ji-won.<br />Let's go first to Hee-jun who's at the Melia Hotel.<br />Hee-jun, I hear it's highly likely that it will be Kim Jong-un's hotel. <br />How are things looking over there?<br />Daniel.<br />You're right. The Melia Hotel is widely believed to be where Kim will be staying.<br />There's been a lot of movement here today, and security has clearly gotten tighter.<br />Trucks full of armed police have been arriving at the hotel throughout the afternoon, and they've been checking the perimeter for explosives.<br />The roads surrounding the hotel have also been partially blocked.<br />And inside the hotel,... security devices have been set up to scan visitors.<br />The hotel has also notified its visitors of the new security protocol,... saying that it’s for a visit by a Head of State.<br />Flowers are being arranged in the shapes of the North Korean and American flags.<br />All signs that Kim Jong-un will be using this venue.<br />It was originally thought this place would serve as the White House Press Center.<br />Either the hotel will be used for both purposes, or it's also possible that the White House could move its press center somewhere else.<br />But an employee confirmed when I asked earlier that Kim Jong-un is indeed going to stay at this hotel.<br />And Hee-jun, when is Kim expected to arrive in Hanoi?<br />He's on his way to the Vietnamese capital via train,... and is expected to arrive tomorrow.<br />Kim is expected to make a stop at Dong Dang Station in Lang Son,... the Vietnamese city on the border with China,... where he's likely to take a car for the rest of his journey to Hanoi.<br />According to numerous officials at the station, Kim is to arrive tomorrow morning.<br />The station has been blocked temporarily, so no trains will pass in or out again until March 2nd.<br />The 170-kilometer road to Hanoi will also be completely blocked off to outside traffic.<br />Every corner of the Lang Son district is being patrolled by police officers.<br />Employees have also been busy tidying up the station's exterior for days.<br />Now President Trump, on the other hand,... will set off for Hanoi soon near midnight, Washington time.<br />He will arrive in the city around midnight on Tuesday.<br />And he'll probably head straight to JW Marriott where he's likely to stay.<br />Daniel.
