Britain's main opposition Labour Party says it will support moves for a second Brexit referendum amid concerns the UK could crash out of the EU without a deal.<br />For more on this and other news around the world we turn to our Ro Aram…<br />Aram… what's the latest?<br /><br />Well Mark.. the Labour Party said it would back a second public vote if the British parliament rejects its alternative withdrawal plan later this week - something that is widely expected to happen.<br />Labour leader, Jeremy Corbyn, said the move for a new referendum was to prevent what he called a damaging Brexit. <br />According to a statement released by the party, Corbyn will tell a meeting of fellow MPs on Monday evening, local time, that it will not only put forward an amendment in favor of a public vote, but also back an amendment that would legislate for a delay to the UK's exit date.<br />The main opposition had previously said it would support a second referendum as a last resort and only if it was confident of securing the votes needed to make it happen.<br />The statement adds that Corbyn will tell MPs that the party "cannot and will not accept" Prime Minister Theresa May's running down the clock towards no deal.<br />May, who is in Brussels for negotiations, has insisted the UK can still leave on March 29th as planned. <br />
