A runaway suitcase rolled down an escalator and knocked down a woman at Nanjing Metro Line 4 on February 22.<br /><br />The CCTV video shows a suitcase suddenly tumbling down an escalator after the owner, Ms Mo, fails to hold onto it, striking another woman named Ms Li on her back.<br /><br />According to reports, Ms Mo failed to hold her luggage because of the slippery gloves she was wearing at the time.<br /><br />Since the escalator is around 10-metre long and the suitcase was around 5kg, Ms Li had fractures and scratches to her back and was bed-bound for a month. <br /><br />Police were negotiating the compensation between two women.
