This plant in rural Brazil defends itself from any potential harm by closing up as soon as it’s touched, only to open again after a few minutes. <br /><br />The footage, filmed February 3 near Rio de Janeiro, shows the mesmerising Mimosa Pudica plant closing up to the slightest touch.<br /><br />“This sweet cute plant was such a big part of my childhood, I was always looking for them and touching them so they would think or ‘go to sleep’,” the filmer Clarisse told Newsflare.
