A car smashed into the central reservations on a highway in southern China’s Chongqing City because the driver was playing on his phone.<br /><br />In CCTV video of the incident, which took place on February 19, a white car suddenly crashes through the central reservations and drives onto the opposite lanes before stopping. <br /><br />In another clip, the seriously damaged car can be seen stopping on the emergency lane.<br /><br />According to local police, the driver was playing on his phone when he was driving along the road.<br /><br />Fortunately, two people in the car only suffered minor injuries. The car driver was fined 200 Yuan (£23) and was also required to pay compensation for the loss of the road facilities.
