Do try it at home and let us know your feedback in the comments below.<br /><br />Ingredients:<br />For Dhokli<br />1 cup Wheat Flour<br />1 tbsp Gram Flour<br />Turmeric powder<br />Red Chilli powder<br />Salt<br />2-3 tbsp Oil<br /><br />For Dal<br />1 tbsp Ghee<br />1/2 tbsp Mustard seeds<br />1/2 tbsp Cumin seeds<br />2-3 Dried Red Chillies<br />2-3 Green Chillies, slit<br />1 cup Split Pigeon peas, cooked<br />1/2 cup Water<br />Turmeric powder<br />Red Chilli powder<br />Salt<br />1-2 tbsp Jaggery (chopped)<br />Ginger, crushed<br />1/2 Lemon juice<br /><br />Coriander leaves & ghee for garnishing<br /><br />Method of preparation:<br />For Dhokli<br />In a bowl, add wheat flour, gram flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, oil and mix them well.<br />Add water and knead it into a dough.<br />Keep the dough aside to rest for 5 minutes.<br />Take a portion of the dough, make small ball, dust it with wheat flour and roll it.<br />Cut it into small pieces.<br /><br />For Dal<br />Heat a vessel, add ghee, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, red chillies, green chillies, Split Pigeon peas.<br />Add water and keep the consistency of the dal thin.<br />Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, jaggery and mix well.<br />Add ginger, lemon juice, mix well and give it a boil.<br />Add the dhokli into the dal.<br />Keep stiring it lightly and once it comes to a boil, switch off the flame and take it out on a serving bowl.<br />Garnish it with coriander leaves and ghee.<br />Our Dal Dhokli is ready.<br />
