Thousands Sign Petition <br />to Sell Montana to Canada To help curb the United States' <br />national debt, the petition is calling <br />for Montana to be sold for $1 trillion. It has so far garnered over <br />12,000 signatures on Change.org. The sale would put a small dent in the debt ceiling, which is now over $22 trillion. The 'Great Falls Tribune' reports that many people who currently live in Montana have signed the petition.
