Six days after a high tension wire fallen down on the house in Khajuri Khas area, the National Human Rights Commission issued notice to the Delhi government on Tuesday. <br />At least 22 people suffered injuries in the incident on the night of June 22. <br />Taking suo motto cognisance of media reports regarding the incident in Khajuri Khas, the NHRC said the reports, if true, raise serious issues of violation of human rights. <br />The commission issued notice to Delhi chief secretary to submit his comments in the matter within four weeks. <br />The NHRC also directed the chief secretary to inform the commission as to what steps are being taken by the Delhi government to prevent such type of incidents in future. <br />An FIR of negligence was also registered against the Delhi Transco in the case. However, the company said that this incident occurred because of flying kites near the high-tension wires.
