SC has issued notice to the Centre and four state govts. on a petition filed by Shreya Singhal challenging the Constitutional validity of Section 66A of Information technology act.<br /><br />Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Pondicherry have been asked to respond in six weeks.<br /><br />Maharashtra has been asked to explain why the two girls were arrested for posting a comment on facebook and what action has been taken against the police officers who arrested the girls.
