As per the latest results from Gujarat, out of the 182 seats the BJP is leading in 120 seats including the 56 seats for which results have been declared in its favour. The Congress is leading only in 56 seats including 19 seats, which it has won so far. Chief Minister Narendra Modi retained his Maninagar seat defeating Shweta Bhatt, wife of suspended police officer Sanjeev Bhatt by a margin of 86,000 votes.
