Several Congress MPs and MLAs from Telangana are expected to resign today to pressure the Centre to agree to the statehood demand.<br />The resignations are also meant to convey to the UPA govt that the people of Telangana felt betrayed by its move to defer a call on the statehood demand.<br />The activists had pegged their hopes on Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde's promise of an early decision.
