India News: After getting a tongue-lashing from NCP supremo Sharad Pawar, Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar sat on penance fast near the samadhi (mausoleum) of Maharashtra leader Yeshwantrao Chavan in Karad of Sangli district.<br /><br />The daylong fast began early this morning. All party MLAs and workers have been asked to stay away.
