IPL 2013 Spot-Fixing: A three-member team of the Mumbai Police on Thursday afternoon reached central Chennai residence of CSK (Chennai Super Kings) 'principal' Gurunath Meiyappan, the son-in-law of team owner and BCCI chief N Srinivasan, to question him in the spot-fixing scandal.<br /><br />However, a red flag was seen atop Meiyappan's bungalow, which neighbours say is put up whenever the CSK team official is not at his residence.<br /><br />With his name figuring prominently in the interrogation of arrested Bollywood actor Vindoo Dara Singh, a senior crime branch officer told HT that Gurunath will either be issued summons or a team will be sent to Chennai to question him.<br /><br />Chennai Police on Thursday confirmed the presence of Mumbai Crime Branch Police in the city in connection with the investigation of the spot-fixing case.<br /><br />Gurunath's questioning would revolve around his links with Vindoo and if he was involved in betting or was passing inside information about matches.
