India News: Sources within the Board of Control for Cricket in India have revealed that support for N Srinivasan within the organisation has dwindled and that BJP leader Arun Jaitley may be asked to take over the leadership role.

It has been learnt that there is confusion within the board about 'who will bell the cat' and that several members feel Srinivasan - the current president - should resign as his position has become untenable. As per the BCCI rules though, if the president resigns, the vice-president takes over in the interim period till the next chief is elected. In this particular case then, Shiv Lal Yadav may take over if Srinivasan quits.
