India News : The CNG hike will have a direct impact on the costs of public transport such as autos, taxis, Cool Cabs, fleet taxis and buses in Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai. It could also mean a rise in fares in the near future as several unions and city bus administrations propose a fare hike based on the fuel factor.<br /><br />A source in BEST said that the cash-strapped undertaking has to bear a huge burden every time there is a CNG hike.
