A tragic incident in Pune, where a man man hanged his three children before ending his own life by hanging.The dead children were aged 4, 6 and 8. He also tried to hang his elder daughter aged 10 in another room, but she managed to escape. A family discord is suspected to be behind the tragedy, as Chandrasekhar Ranaware's wife had left him after a bitter quarrel a fortnight back.She said that Ranaware would often beat her and the children.
