India News: The prices of onion started rising across the city about a month ago. While onions — central to north Indian cuisine — are currently priced at Rs 5 to Rs 7 higher than they were in June, their prices are only expected to rise further.<br />Depending on where one lives, onions can be bought for anything between Rs 35 per kg to Rs 42 per kg.
