Christians across India observe the occasion of Good Friday today. It is a day when churches hold special services and help the devout recall the whole episode of the crucifixion. It is a religious holiday observed traditionally to remember the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ. Though the day has religious importance, it is not considered as a day of celebration.
