India News: The woman who sent a girl to Asaram Bapu's Jodhpur ashram from a hostel run by the godman in MP has surrendered. The session's court sent Shilpi alias Sanchita to police custody. Shilpi is accused of sending a teen inmate of her hostel in Chhindwara to meet the godman in Jodhpur in August.<br /><br />The girl later claimed Asaram sexually assaulted her, and the godman was subsequently arrested.<br /><br />Shilpi surrendered after her bail plea was rejected by the Jodhpur High Court.<br /><br />Jodhpur police say Shilpi say sent the 16-year-old girl to meet the 75-year-old for "healing".
