Close on the heels of the milk and vegetable prices shooting up in the national capital and adjoining areas, a diesel price hike seems to be looming on the horizon... Chief Economic Advisor Kaushik Basu says that India will see "some important" reforms in the next six months, which includes a partial decontrol of diesel prices. Explaining what he meant by partial diesel decontrol, Kaushik Basu, Chief economic advisor said that India should have a small subsidy that is fixed per liter.
