The Supreme Court order banning the use of tinted glass beyond permissible limits in vehicles from May 5 that is today seems to have stumped the Road Transport Authority. According to the apex court, side glasses should have 50% visibility while the back and front windshields should have 70% visibility. The court has only Okayed car manufacturer-produced 'tint', all 'dark films' -- irrespective of visibility level - that are sold through car accessories stores have now become illegal.
