BJP took a huge step forward to pacify Gujarat Chief Minister and party strongman Narendra Modi. Senior BJP leader and a vocal Modi detractor - Sanjay Joshi, resigned from the party just ahead of the BJP's two-day National Executive meet. Following Joshi's resignation, a sulking Modi had a change of heart and confirmed that he will be attending the National Executive meet in Mumbai.
