Senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj took formal charge of her new responsibility as External Affairs minister on Monday, reiterating that Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed to his Pakistani counterpart that noise of bomb blasts drown out the sounds of peace.<br /><br />Swaraj is the first woman to have independent charge of this top cabinet post.
