The meeting of the Congress Working Committee has decided to "go to people'' to counter the Opposition's onslaught against the UPA Government. The two-hour-long meeting, held at 10 Janpath residence of the Congress party President Sonia Gandhi, endorsed the Government's decision to allow FDI in the retail sector. The meeting gave whole-hearted support to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his reform measures. Sonia Gandhi chaired the meeting.
