The Supreme Court on Monday stayed the execution of two people convicted and sentenced to death in the December 2012 or Nirbhaya gang rape case.<br /><br />Four people - Mukesh, Vinay, Pawan and Akshay - were sent to the gallows last year by a Delhi court. The same was upheld by the Delhi High Court.<br />But the apex court put on hold the execution of Akshay and Vinay. The same court had stayed the execution of the two others.<br /><br /><br /><br />The four have been guilty of raping and fatally hurting a paramedical student on December 16, 2012.
