News of yet another onslaught against Freedom of Speech. Posting offensive messages on Twitter landed a small-scale industrialist from Puducherry in jail on Tuesday. Ravi, the owner of a plastic packaging material factory, allegedly targeted Chidambaram's son Karti Chidambaram. Ravi was arrested under Section 66-A of the Information Technology Act by the local crime branch wing of the Criminal Investigation Department police on a complaint by Karti. The 45-year-old was later granted bail by Chief Judicial Magistrate.
