Political goondaism was yet again on display in West Bengal with a TMC man brandishing a revolver threatening the staff and owner of a nursing home in Suri. Former Birbhum district secretary of the party, Asish Dey, accompanied by his supporters entered the hospital on Saturday night and threatened the owner of the hospital against hiring Dr Debasish Debangshi, secretary of Trinamool-backed-district doctor's association. Sources say the threat leashed out by Dey is a fallout of the factional feud in the Trinamool Congress's Birbhum unit. Dey, who was dismissed from the post of District secretary was locked in a rivalry with Dr. Debangshi, after he was selected as secretary of the Trinamool-backed doctors association.
