Fresh fight broke out last evening between Sangli farmers and the PoliceFurther over the sugarcane crop MInimum Support Price (MSP) issue . In the ensuing police firing fortunately there were no injuries. However fresh violence broke out in the Kolhapur district of Maharashtra on Wednesday, two days after a farmer was killed in police firing there. The agitating farmers had been protesting against the arrest of their leader Raju Shetty. In violence at Kolhapur, a police van was set afire while a state transport bus was vandalised.
