The Chhatarpur police on Sunday arrested two persons in connection with the grievous assault on 17-year-old Harcharan Yadav, who was stabbed in the eyes allegedly with a pair of scissors on Friday night. Harcharan was brutally attacked because his cousin had eloped with a minor girl from a neighbouring village and girl's father Kashi Patel suspected that Harcharan knew about the elopement and had helped them plan it.
