Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not been invited to the Vijaya Dashmi celebrations at the iconic Ramleela Maidan in central Delhi on Friday evening.<br /><br />The powerful Ramleela Committee, which organises the annual event at the sprawling grounds next to the Red Fort, have instead invited the Congress president Sonia Gandhi.<br /><br />The Ramleela Ground Committee is headed by Congress leader JP Aggarwal, who on Friday said the prime ministers from non-Congress parties have never visited the Ramleela grounds on Dussehra.<br /><br />"It is the committee's prerogative. There are several Ramleela committees and it is upto them to invite people.
